Looking on the map page of the SRB2 wiki, and even trying it myself ingame, map24 (a map inbetween egg rock act 2 and black core 1) is empty. My best guess is that it was a slot for a boss act, but wasn't taken as Egg Rock act 2 just goes right to Black Core and the metal bossfight. Just so it's...
