There's a good reason this topic has gone on for so long. We're arguing about the future of the game. Is the game going to remain what it has been or become a completely different experience?
As a long time srb2 player, I've forgotten what its like to be new, so hearing that the thok doesn't fit the level design is hard to grasp. I think the thok is very usable for most of the game and in fact makes some sections easier.
At this point it would make more sense to develop Sonic Robo Blast 3. If the thok is being replaced, you need to make level design work around the replacement. If the momentum is being overhauled, you need to make level design work for that too. Why remake the game from the ground up and call it...
Personally, the thok is my favorite movement ability of any game I've ever played, so I'd be sad to see it removed/replaced. I'd be ok with it going on another character if it plays identically.
I dont know why, but ever since I upgraded to 1.3, loading maps takes way way longer than before. Before, it was instant, now it takes about 1 or more seconds to load a map. This makes time trials excruciating. :(

Shift - Spin
Space - Center View
Mouse 1 - Jump
Mouse 2 - Ring Toss
L - Toss Flag
Q and E and scroll wheel - Next and Previous Weapon
Everything else is default I think.

In Tag mode, I have noticed that a lot of people glitch their way to victory in Infernal Cavern Zone... They somehow find a way to become invincible and just "float" harmlessly of lava forever without dying... They also are stuck in their pain-state animation as well.
Now, I myself could not...
Aquatic Base Zone lags (LOW FPS) more than any level that I have EVER seen in any mod ever. It is so slow that it nearly freezes up srb2. All the lag I have ever seen combined does not compare to this map's lag.
For a slow computer like mine, OpenGL runs too slowly. Even with Software mode, DSZ is almost unplayable. Therefore I stick with Software, even though OpenGL looks nicer.
Man, if I could find a way to fly up there from North Carolina, I would. I highly doubt that that would be possible, but I'll give it a shot. But what would really suck would be if I could not enter because I am 17. XD
