    Frontiers Sonic: The Cybertest Demo

I have a bit of a concern regarding this character, the control scheme is really bad. First, why is the homing attack its own button? It takes up a entire custom button that could be used for something like crouching (which is tossflag for some reason?!). The only reason I could think is that...

advance sonic ( close this thread, theres a new one )

While this mod does seem impressive on a technical standpoint, it seems like its yet again going to be another character mod that's way too fast/over-tuned for the vanilla stages, seems to be a bit of a trend now and days.

    Adventure Sonic (v1.9)

I mean is it really? I feel like if they actually want to resolve the conflict, it would be done in private. You can't have a serious discussions about this serious matter in a forum mostly inhabited by kids. At the end of the day, this situation that doesn't concern us and I doubt anyone that...

    Mint "the AmyDroid" Sweetnam

Wow, I didn't think a recolor character could be as good if not better than most other characters on the message board right now! This mod is very impressive, and you did a great job on the update! Looking forward to seeing what else comes from this mod.

    [Open Assets] SRB2 XMAS Remastered

This mod is really nice. I feel like it blends platforming with speed elements really well unlike most other levels I've seen lol. Not sure how many levels were in the original, but id love to see more of this :D

    Extra Abilities For Shadow!

Quite the okay mod but these moves kind of feel like filler? I guess that IS the point of the mod however. It is a bit strange that there's so many mods that modify the Shadow mod, at least on YouTube. The only other one of these that I recall being on a forum is ShadowPlus which is also a...

The SRB2 Modding Community is Dead.

Ah, those are pretty good mods you just listed there. Though you must understand that those types of mods normally require a lot more time and effort. The mods listed were practically made by a team of people, which is why they have good sprites, code, and are generally very polished. An average...

The SRB2 Modding Community is Dead.

Might wanna rephrase this a bit; having more high-quality mods vs amateur mods would still equal a healthy community if they were made by different people. If the same 6 or so people were the only ones to make mods that are high-quality, then that would be much worse.

The SRB2 Modding Community is Dead.

Your initial post didn't really capture what exactly you were talking about when you said "good mods.". Would you like to give any examples of what these "good mods" look like? Or maybe what classifies as a "good mod" in your eyes?

Can somebody explain me how Lua works here...?

You can go here if you want to know how everything works: https://bartuinceqr.github.io/srb2-glossary/en/introduction/ If you just want a reference (basic character abilities), you can go to these places Thok Scripting Example Open Character Assets though realisticly if you already KNOW about...

[Open Assets] Sonic Time Twisted Styled Whirlwind Shield

I don't see you need to type the command "floattoggle" for this mod to work at all: considering you can hold jump and press spin to still active the whirlwind jump regardless even when "floattoggle" is on regardless, its a pretty good mod: a bit overpowered though

“Does ANYONE like sonic robo blast 2?” Video intrigues me.

I… don't think that's what he' trying to say at all? I'm pretty sure this is a follow up video to another video where he tried to play base game srb2, didn't enjoy it at all, and said why he does enjoy base game srb2. Then people decided to constantly barrade him with “play with mod to make the...

I asked ChatGPT about how could I port SRB2 to the Xbox 360. And it turns out that it might actually be possible. Here's whaChatGPT said:

Uh, why exactly was this thread created…? You do realize anyone can find these exact steps if they were really that intrested about it, right? You do also realize that these are the most cookie cutter steps to port SRB2 to any game console, right? I don't even fathom how a conversation even...

Does anyone know where the claim that this is "an art community" came from?

Uh, what? You do realize that srb2 isn't just about “art”, right? This is a video game, it is a community filled with people who like it. The only reason why srb2 would even be considered a art community would be due to the google definition of it, and AI art is also art by that same defintion...

Does anyone know where the claim that this is "an art community" came from?

Uh-huh. On normal terms id agree with this statement. But because of circumstances: the definition of art does not say that you specifically need to create the art. It DOES say “human creative skill and imagination” however, and you can argue that it takes creative skill and imagination to...

Does anyone know where the claim that this is "an art community" came from?

I mean, one could argue that creative skill and imagination comes into writing the prompt itself when telling AI what to generate.

Would you like to show use this warning perhaps? It shouldn't be a problem considering you already know the day and time it happened

Does anyone know where the claim that this is "an art community" came from?

This makes the ban look much worse. I hope the admins have a reasonable exclamation to this, Otherwise it would make them look pretty dishonest

Does anyone know where the claim that this is "an art community" came from?

Yeah I don't see him being warned anywhere on this thread, Unless there's proof of him being warned elsewhere.

Does anyone know where the claim that this is "an art community" came from?

I'd like to remind everyone that there wasn't and still isn't a objective "right" or "wrong" side of this argument. But this ban makes it seem like there is, which is not the case of course.
