Jupirnier's Hangout Maps

Jupirnier's Hangout Maps v1.4, DLC v1.1

Yo just asking in snow town there's this frozen pool and what seems to be an entrance to a sub level or something? I've been trying to find my way there but I'm stumped just thought I'd ask for help here if anyone knows a way down there

Hey.

Jupirnier updated Jupirnier's Hangout Maps with a new update entry:

V1.4 - An overhaul

After a bit more than a year in development, I have finally finished this. Nearly everything has been updated in the map pack, so I’ll go through the major changes:
  • Welistation, Green Valley, Snow Town, Lower Deck and Bygone Lands have received visual touch-ups;
  • Grassy Islands, Underwater Museum and the title map have been remade from scratch.
WELISTATION:
  • Welistation has new rooms (e.g. new warehouse area), had some rooms changed (e.g. the room before...

This is seriously some of the coolest shit. It's so terrifying. What makes it all the more unsettling is it's places you know too.

I presume it seems to be just me having this issue, but simply loading up the main hangout pack seems to just crash my game.

It seems to be just with this particular pack version (1.4) however, as every other addon loads fine.

I have a feeling there might be an error down the line with how my SRB2 platform (MacOS) loads this particular pack. Maybe too many files being loaded at the same time within the .pk3?

There's been no log, crash message or anything in the files or ingame indicating that something has gone wrong. So I haven't anything else to go off of.

Just thought I'd get some assistance on this, as I would really like to play this hangout pack... :dramahog:

I know it has to do with the text in Underwater Museum. once i removed it, it loaded no problem.

Does the .RPT file have anything? Maybe that could potentially answer the question.
I'm on Windows, so I cannot reproduce this issue myself.

MacOS doesn't use .rpt files i'm pretty sure as i can't find one. perhaps the only fix is removing the SOC_MUSE file in the pk3, in that case just make that a different download. I'm not sure how else to fix this.

Unfortunately, I have zero clue how to fix this either. (without removing SOC_MUSE that is, since that's an integral part of the mod)
