I've noticed a "glitch" in the background , I don't know if this is part of the rendering or because I play on a cell phone, but some backgrounds (like Fang battle's sunset) It only appears in "Software" mode, while in OpenGL you see a black, empty backgroud , It's a little annoying because it seems ugly to me

Does anyone know why this happens or how to fix it? (Or maybe I have to wait for a new mobile version for sure)

Software is very glitchy so don't put it on that, for me my screen just sticks. Just keep it on OpenGL

Software is more stable and has better compatibility, but does have some minor layering issues mostly involving FOFs and Polyobjects. (The last two things in layman’s terms being floating platforms.)
OpenGL is usually the glitchy one.

There are a few things that could be the cause for the problem, but I can’t pin any of them down.
Most likely being that the bug is caused by some problem in the port itself.

The android port is also not run by Sonic Team Junior and should not be troubleshooted in this forum because it’s an unofficial port.

For me OpenGL is better. Software just stops my entire screen. I don't know why, I thought this was normal.

Obviously, it’s not normal because it wouldn’t be there if it didn’t work to some extent. As glitchy as OpenGL is, neither of the renderers are that broken on most devices.

Something must be vastly different with the architecture of your device that makes software completely unable to work.

TLDR: That is very atypical for software, it should function vastly better than that.

Wait if OpenGL is the word that is showing does that mean that OpenGL is active?
