I think this is probably the most important post in this thread, one of the first problems you run into when using reshade is that it doesn't distinguish between what it sees and what it should see, i.e. it acts as if it doesn't have a HUD on the screen.
srb2kart 2024-07-15 13-20-37.png
As a result, you can end up with either a completely disgusting HUD or an almost invisible one, due to the effects that have been superimposed on it.

To avoid this, there's a kind of UI detector.
But it's not yet fully operational. Sometimes, it may miss some writing on the screen, or instead of just taking the UI, it will take the 3D elements, causing some artifacts to appear during your game session. Ideally, the HUD should be contrasted, i.e. all black and white. This will enable the UI detector to better discern the interface and the game itself.

New Update V1.3, I've improved PBRs like reflections and I've removed the light shadow that was illuminating sonic above him. I plan to add more effects for V1.4 .
For the moment it's still work in progress, but I'll release everything in V2.0.

Hello! I have some questions (I already know about ReShade):
1. How did you make the reflections only affect certain textures or parts of the floor? Like when you made the mud puddles and the water have reflections here:

2. What shader did you use to make the player have realistic shadows? Like here:

Overall it looks great. Older SSs seem to have too much intensity on chromatic abberation, bloom and ambient occlusion. New ones look amazing but I want to see more examples, particularly for bloom.

Can you send me a series of screenshots or a video to show me how it's done? Please do.
Not sure if this is what you asked but:
First, I choose srb2win.exe (the SRB2 vanilla executable)
Then, I choose OpenGL
I then choose "Update ReShade and effects"
After that, I choose SweetFX and Standard effects.
That's about it
