Can't adjust Native Windows Midi player music volume

Oh. I also thought it was bugged, or something...Well, at least I have clarification too. I'll still use Native, though. It's cool.

Pretty sure this is just a quirk of using native. I would recommend using OPNMIDI instead.
Other Doom ports (and even other non-Doom based games) let you adjust native midi player volume just fine, I know this isn't Doom anymore but it should still be possible.

You can also download this soundfont to your SRB2 folder, change the MIDI player from native to fluidsynth and change the soundfont file to gm.sf2, and you should hear the same music but with the ability to control volume.

I'd like to add that this bug has been present since 2.1.1x, if memory serves me right. The solution above can do for now.

btw I wouldn't recommend using Fluidsynth if you run srb2 off an HDD, Fluidsynth for some reason reloads the Soundfont everytime the song changes which if you use a mildly big sf2 and on an HDD it'll lagspike you and potentially fuck you up

I recommend using VirtualMidiSynth as a replacement for Windows's MIDI Mapper instead. It overcomes the limits of the WIndows's own implementation of MIDI (instrument cut off, various effects missing, etc) which never changed since 9x and allows you to mix several soundfonts at once and a volume mixer for individual instruments or for all the volume at once.

Before a patch in 2.1, it was possible to change the volume of the native Windows MIDI but after that it's always full volume no matter what.
