software's colors pop out more because of the game's palette of 256 colors (so the game has to get creative with the colors it uses), opengl has infinite colors, and while that might seem like a good thing (i mean, some do prefer that), it means opengl's colors will come out more muted and less vibrant, specially with shaders off.OpenGL looks bland and lifeless???? Idk what you mean. The colors look fine for both OpenGL and Software.
And I never had issues with OpenGL's FPS, unless theres a stage that contains so many things then the FPS would drop. What device on you playing SRB2 on?
eh i guess its just a device-to-device thing, i use a samsung galaxy a13
