I seem to be having a similar issue to Sairri, where the eyes are swapped. There seems to be no option in SteamVR to swap the eyes, unfortunately.
Also, the title screen/main menu background appears black still, despite patch 1.01 supposedly fixing that issue.

for some reason i cannot use the vr controller at all. i have a oculus quest 2 with a usb plugged into my pc. is there a fix to this or something?

I havent used this build but I have used the vr build for srb2 kart which is made by the same guy, I can tell you these builds just dont use the vr controllers, connect a normal controller to your pc or use mouse and keyboard.
