i went on google and i wanted to google up what cd stands for and it actully said on google is that the cd stands for Chrono Distortion and It's called "CD" because it came out at a time when optical disc based games were still new and different witch also means the tails cd mod stands for tails Chrono Distortion and its kinda cool it what it stands for

The reason I say that is because it's on the Sega CD. It took CDs.
Edit: The 2011 remake is called Chrono Distortion. Because its not on the CD anymore.
 
well thats confusing i dint know about sadly the 2011 remake is gone everywhere but still i thougt that stand for both but now i actully get it

2011 remake can still be playable if you download it on phone.

It was called Sonic CD because of what console it was played on: Sega CD. It used compact disks we know today, and Sega released Sonic CD to show the power of Sega CD (which is a addon for Sega Genesis).

Weirdly enough, I can find a lot of internet users calling it "Chrono Distortion" with the same backstory behind it being that it was called this for the 2011 remake, but I can't seem to find any official sources to confirm it anywhere and as someone who owns the 2011 remake on Steam I have never heard of this before, so I can't say for sure whether it's official or just a widely spread urban legend. Someone mentioned something about it being from a French article or something, so it might have been French exclusive or simply cut before release?

Either way, with at least both the original release and the Origins re-release, the "CD" in Sonic CD is simply a reference to the "Compact Disc" that the game was distributed on originally, as it was new technology at the time of the original release. You could call it your Sonic CD.

if you already buy the game in steam (or epic game) you you can still play he on pc
2 : sonic origins for mobile or Apple arcade not porting.
So on mobile you can buy and download the game

If you are hobo bad guy or russian pc user

1.Not living things are writed as "it"
2.Sonic Orgins isnt on mobile devices. The games were made before Origins, and were just ported to modern consoles with diffrent controls.

3. What the shell was the video you posted? Its un-releated,and it makes zero sense.

To wrap this all up:

The original Sonic CD made in 1993 doesnt mean Chrono Distortion.

The 2011 remake though is called Chrono Distortion.

Doctor Lemon,at this point,to me it sounds like you believe everything you see or hear.
