Katmint submitted a new resource:

Character-specific jingles template - customise your character's power up jingles

Thanks to 2.2.9, it's now possible to easily set custom music and jingles for your character. This is a lightweight example script which replaces only Sonic's speed shoes, invincibility, super, and act clear themes with other in-game music.

This is ready for use in your own character by simply swapping the skin and music names.

With this, it is now more than possible to make a megamix mod for this game, for virtually every character wad out there.
 
Hey there. I'm tryna make a mod using this method as a basis, but it just doesn't work for me like it does for you. Could you maybe take a look at it and help me figure out what I need to do to make it work right? This script doesn't produce any errors; it just doesn't do anything. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: So I just figured out why my attempt with this method didn't work.
...the newname string needs to be in all lowercase...

I fucking hate syntax. I fucking hate it so much.

I know its just for an example, as its an assets, but if you did make it use new songs id reccommend sonic adventure 1 music cause its awesome
 
So, I've never made a mod (and likely won't be able to, being stuck on Android with no access to SLumpEd) and I just wanna use this to generally replace the ingame jingles with stuff from S3&K. But, when reading the LUA text, I could barely make heads or tails of it. I know to change the "skin" name, but not how to replace the music. Anybody willing to fill me in on the process?
