Still working on it, just lighting issues and stuff, hard release date for the build is this month though.

I'm trying to see if I can get it out before Christmas, but I also wanna make sure it's a good and not buggy update, because due to some life stuff, it'll probably be the last update for a couple of months. Right now though, I'd say maybe 75% done? Somewhere along those lines.

Did your friend portforward their server? If not, joining the server using Discord isn't really going to work. If they haven't portfowarded, this guide should help them out.
