Just speculation but I doubt it'd be another year. by the time they finish up it'll be early next year at least. If it's the ranking system they're working on, its because of the complex animations for each rank, on top of its sprites for each of the Hud styles. which many do not seem like a lot...

Either way it wouldn't be cancelled, it wouldn't make a lot of sense despite the fact they've been working on V6 for years now. All that hard work would be for nothing so the worst (I Think would happen) is it getting delayed even further but even so the wait will be worth it and its in our best...
