Oh I really like this idea and the first stage is a pretty good showcase of what you can do with a far more complex map designed for multiplayer. Also I didn't know that the Elemental Shield blocked the time drain from water in special stages/the Attraction Shield worked on blue spheres.
There was an older multiplayer focused pack back in the final demo era by Jazz called Jazz Attack. It was a pretty high quality collection of maps for the time and it's a shame it seems to be lost
Kart maps should be submitted and released under the their separate category typically. This is just to avoid confusion and make sure people know which version of the game it will work and is designed for.
Here's something that might be useful for level making regarding optimization for performance, but what about a more accurate display of sidedefs/things/other effects displayed either in devmode or a similar option to allow immediate insight on how straining a given part of a level could be on...
I don't think you need to be defensive about your statements, the main issue was people believing you were taking umbrage with the contents in particular, rather than mostly being confused about how the channel announcements work and something like achange for the topic for general SRB2 related...
The main reason we don't deal with roles for specific announcements is simply they rarely come up in the first place, and are basically never urgent enough to actually require everyone to know immediately compared to just finding out at their own pace. Managing a bunch of roles just to...
Glad to see you've finally finished and got this out after the years it's been in progress. Same for all the other contributors to this clearly much larger than anticipated undertaking. Unable to check it out but I'll be sure to download and have a look when I'm home.
Back in 1.09.4 there was a pack of Match/CTF levels from Jazz called well, Jazz Attack and among them was a very fun club themed level that even had an easter egg that allowed you to change the music playing in the level between three Sonic 3 references. You'd often get people fighting in there...
Frankly, I think it's something to do with excusing how it's okay to take shortcuts if you're actually good at something because you know and have shown you can do it anyway. It's not really related to drawing but it's a pretty common thing among speedrunners to have people with a clear solid...
He just gives you a reskinned emblem, there's no actual Eight Emerald code in SRB2 anymore and would have to be added back in through Lua which it presently isn't.
So I understand this is just a small look into what you made and so will just focus on the act you've put out.
The level is pretty short and doesn't particularly feel designed for anyone but Junio, now there isn't any issue with this if you're clear upfront about a mod being designed for a...
Nothing, because it'd be overreaching to do anything like that. They can exist in their own splinter community and the only issue is when they try to interfere with the main one.
