I know exactly what this is. It's SRB2 Destructive Illusion. The issue was the EXE had no MODID, so vanilla clients could join servers hosting it, and destructive illusion clients could join vanilla servers. Instead of fixing it, the creator simply took the mod down for some reason. If you need...
I think they're just really high up. The skybox is actually a miniature little room that then gets projected at large scale around the player, so if you do noclip in you actually appear huge.
I don't agree with them being "art" but its true that you can't make them fast. People act like mod-makers are working for them 24/7 to make them happy and it's really stupid. People will get so pressed over a mod they don't like, it's insane. Even my level, Doomship Zone Act 2, has been subject...
I greatly enjoy the SSN art, it's very unique and looks good while not being overdone. I think the older versions really took advantage of the style well, while 2.2 is "better" the SSN art has a good charm to it and makes the game look different from the many many many other sonic fangames.
You can move the files over easily without issue. No mod/addon files can cause the game to fail to load on bootup, unless they're automatically loaded.
This map may or may NOT work properly in 2.2.14, thanks to its large use of custom enemies. I don’t have 2.2.14 to test it (too lazy) so if anyone has an issue with this mod in 2.2.14 please tell me, thanks.
Naming doesn't matter at all. You can choose any mod as long as it's in the directory for srb2 or any folders within. You could name the folder "sdifgbsklgbfslk" and it'll still work.
I mean you don't make maps either. I do, and it's not TOO difficult. I'm also not the greatest fan of Lilac Conservatory either I think some of the points ladno made in his later post hold up to some of my opinions on the level. BUT it certainly has some effort put into it, so there's that.
