This will be updated very soon. The hockey counter is reused by the boss but isn't currently cleared on map load. This prevents the boss from working properly if hockey was played. It does clear if you reload the game and the boss should then function properly.

Thank you for the feedback and I agree. The openness makes Tails & Knuckles very overpowered. I have some creative ideas on how to fix that in a future update.

On the 13inch Retina Macbook Pro the window for SRB2 is larger than the resolution of the game leaving an annoying whitespace around the game image which is heavily distracting. Higher resolution modes would also be appreciated if achievable.

I don't think OpenGL works on Intel Macs on any version of SRB2, I am unsure of PowerPC however. You need to launch SRB2mac from the terminal for OpenGL. The game immediately crashes, whether I try to enter fullscreen after the game is loaded or on startup. I made a topic about it back in March. Netplay is completely broken in the mac port as well.
