Does Ring Racers Works On Windows 7?

I like the speed, horror, racing, and rythm games.
Basically, i got a problem some few troubles trying to install the game, and the installer just doesn't open (i use a windows 7 ultimate,32 bits computer).

To skip that installer, you can grab everything needed to run the game here as "Dr.Robotnik.s-Ring-Racers-v2.4-Assets.zip"... except for the exe
The assets download is meant for linux users that will compile their own executable, but you're probably less willing to go through with it than i am, and I don't. You'll have to ask someone to give you the exe or run the installer on a work computer or something to get it. If you're asking around, I could give, but you'd rather want to get it from someone you can trust. Put it where you put the assets.

I don't know what windows 7 supports, but if it doesn't support Vulkan you may be a bit out of luck. from what I've heard even software uses it as a backend to make it's final draw to the screen, though you should probably just try it first before deciding you need an alternative.

Ring racers does include a version of SRB2's opengl renderer instead, but it's self-described as broken and has memory leak issues that will crash the game after a certain amount of time, depending on how much ram you have. It is playable however and some people prefer it's more 3d appearance or models. You can enable this on startup by running start ringracers.exe -opengl in command prompt, after you have navigated to your ring racers folder.
This renderer is also in the process of being phased out, so if you have to rely on it, know that at some point, KKD will swap it out with hardware2, which is also Vulkan, and you probably won't be able to play the game anymore
