I found a minor issue with Jake. The stevefloat.lua script you're using for him is constantly running even when Jake isn't an active character on the map. It probably isn't a particularly big impact but it is likely impacting performance a little.

Edit: Think I unintentionally resolved the issue on my own, was most likely a mod conflict somewhere.
