SRB2 freezing(?) issues

I was playing SRBP2 with some friends until suddenly the game froze, but suddenly my game began to lag spike and freeze. We've checked and my internet connection is fine, sometimes it will also cause me to time out. We checked in base SRB2 also and it still happens there. I've tried completely reinstalling the game and that hasn't worked. Does anyone know the issue and how to fix it? We've been waiting to play SRB2 for awhile. It worked fine about a week ago.

I checked on another game to see if this is a problem with SRB2 and it worked fine. I can confirm this isn't any sort of connection issue, I also know it isn't a friend with my friend's server considering we had one other person in it and they could play fine.

Might just be SRB2 itself, I dunno.
