Ok, sorry to piggy back off your ideas, @Crysochyon769 and @Scott Silliam, but I have an idea.
A sitcom.
Where the characters are literally video game consoles.
Two families, Nintendo and Sega, neighbors.
They don't like each other, but their kids do, specifically the SNES Jr. and the Model 2 Genesis, Romeo and Juliet style, but without the killing, they end up married in season 28 and have the Retron as their kid.
The Nintendo family's son, the Game Boy is in 5th grade or something and his whole class is those cheap LCD handhelds of the 90s and the teacher is a V-Smile.
There's a movie between the 4th and 5th seasons, where the obnoxious PlayStation family moves in and the Nintendos and Segas have to band together to... (stop them?)
Eventually the Segas move away in the 10th season and the Xboxs move in.
The show's name? Console Wars.
