There really is no point to even have a PlayStation 5 pro

You get an upgraded GPU and the CPU does not even get a necessary upgrade. It is a wasteful expenditure unless you never owned a base PlayStation 5 console in the first place like me.

I have a PlayStation 3 and a Nintendo Wii u Nintendo 3DS I happen to own the series s because it's a budget console.

I also have a fairly competent computer.

Instead of making crude judgments maybe we should have a conversation through personal messages instead of you personally attacking me.

The PlayStation 3 is the best console Sony ever made mine plays PlayStation 2 and PlayStation 1 games and the online servers are still active with the online store.

You must be a kid because the PlayStation 4 Xbox One PlayStation 5 PlayStation 5 pro and Xbox series s and series x are all running on the same hardware generation to generation. There is no distinction between these consoles other than the brand.

At least with the PlayStation 3 we got a fully competent IBM processor rather than the processor we got with the Xbox 360 and PlayStation used Nvidia graphics and Xbox used ATI AMD graphics

You kids obviously were in diapers when the PlayStation 3 came out it is the most superior console that Sony has ever released next to the PlayStation 2

nah the only console i know of is 16 bit 4th gens. and also retroarch is what i used on steam.

I agree with all your words. Not only does the guy you had the conversation with in question say bunch of things that do not matter to the discussion, but he even thinks your the kid here (which is a direct opposite line). I'm pretty sure the fanbase is being fully hyped to the max for the game especially, now that the end of this year is going to be the most swell out of the entire plan. The only thing I'm a little concerned about is the Sonic Generarions part of the package, since it's not being as touched as Shadow part. Sure, updated visuals with HE2 is nice, but what else are they adding in?

thought they just shoved 2 engines in a single game, havent seen any difference in the sonic generations part and if it is he2 it kinda gives me a concern since i cant see any visual changes

I do wonder about it too, maybe there's the possibility that they'll add Shadow Upgrade DLC for original Generations on steam. I mean there is Spider Man GOTY edition with all dlcs in it and they removed the original one, but for those who have with no DLCs can still buy "The City That Never Sleep" DLC to "upgrade" into GOTY edition.

This game has had two remakes so far and how much could you say was added to either of those games?

We are in a continuous trend right now in this dead era of gaming to rerelease older triple A titles to supplement the lack of new intellectual properties and anything hardware related that Spurs consumers to purchase hardware.

I am glad we are getting a sonic remake because Sonic the hedgehog really needs to run at 60 frames per second. Luckily we are in a console generation that finally appreciates most games running at 60 frames per second. The Xbox 360 was a lousy console when it came to optimizing games to run at a specific frame rate.

as for Sonic Generations I find it extremely odd that Sega just isn't packaging the old executable with the new release on PC, similar to how the Sam and Max Remasters bundle their OG versions as free DLC. Modding support made that old busted 360 to PC port of Generations have an interestingly long shelf life.

And while Sega made a Steam bundle of all the legacy Sonic games on Steam with the old version of Generations included, it's a weird-ass bundle:

In a sense, unless you've already owned other parts of the bundle, you're basically expected to pay 60 dollars for the moddable Sonic Generations. (Unless fans make a compatible mod launcher for SxS specifically, which they will)

That said, I already sold a bunch of TF2 items I wasn't using or care about anymore to pre-order a PC copy so I'm already set in the hype zone, especially after the Dark Beginnings shorts like holy shit they've been cooking.
