The developer of the Web Port made a public post saying they will no longer develop it as they do not have time, nor is there enough interest in the port to begin with.

There's an updated version but it's been coded differently

I think you are talking about the one that runs on boxedwine, its 2.2.11 and it runs fine but doesn't save after you close it

Updating the source code and files involves more than just printing code, which is the current extent of AI.
This is not accounting for the fact that AI would not be familiar with SRB2 at all.
