ok, with the release of 1.5 and hopefully 1.6 slowly being made, you HAVE to add a soap shoes option. you literally made a gif showing sasonic in green forest.

Rule 15, but even that aside, correct me if I'm wrong here, but wouldn't that mean redoing every sprite to have soap shoes, cmon man, make a model if you want soap shoes.

What if somebody doesnt like srb2 models?
Like, after all you dont have to redo all the sprites, just change the shoes to soap shoes, even thought im not saying its easy.

I hadn't thought of that, you're right, but I must say, I've read of a lot of people making mods saying how much of a slog it is, though I understand the angle, I put SRB2 on an old desktop and I've yet to buy a graphics card for it, it's a valid point.
 
Oh man this mod is incredible, as a Dreamcast fanboy, this feels so accurate to the Adventure games it's amazing. Having both SA1 and SA2 Super physics is really cool, and even the little things like how you can easily move around in circles in a ball state after a spindash are such nice appreciated details. Sometimes I find myself trying to somersault like SA2 out of habit, but I just need to get used to the SA1 style of things. I do have a question about the Green Jungle level. Since it is apparently private, is it going to remain that way indefinitely, or will there eventually be a public release when it's ready? I also saw someone describing it as "semi-private", so does that mean it's in like closed beta testing or something?

I think i found a glitch.
Now, i dont know if this is supposed to be a reference to sa2's animation, but sonic's sprites go very fast even thought im walking very slowly.
Also, if loading both v1.4b and 1.5 sonic's sprites will move EVEN faster for some reason.
The Lua runs twice if you add SA-Sonic twice. Adding multiple versions of the same mod will break basically any mod. Is there a reason you needed both versions added?

As for the quick start-up animation, that's SA2. It looks like intended if you just hold the stick normally. In SRB2 any character just walks in place if you tilt the stick just 1%.

In SA2 you'd go into a walking animation if you purposely hold the stick as gently as possible. I'd love to see that implemented for SA-Sonic, but we'll probably need to gather another Metalwario64 spirit bomb to make that happen.

It was something Metal wanted to do initially, but motivation's dropped alot since release. I really want to see that too, but we can only hope!

You know what, im going to delete the original message so nobody gets confused anymore, and so that nobody gets to write a reply to that message because that would be just a waste of time for the writer.
 
After a little bit of playing around I found out that taunt switching (pressing weapon 1-7 to change a voice line for tossflag+custom 2 taunt) works for Super Sonic too. Yes, it took me this long.
I also found out that apparently Super Sonic's taunt #5 uses the japanese line even if you set english voices.
