I need to Dig out OLDC Script (Plz Help!)

Hello! In the latest OLDC, there's a script by @Lach that just immediately gives you an emerald upon collecting the emerald tokens. I would really like to have that script but for Single Player. (Once I eventually do get the script working in single player, I will not be releasing it to the public, as it is not my work.) How would I go about digging the script out the the OLDC's .pk3 file? I have SLADE installed, and I think I have the correct .txt file (I believe it's named SOC_CLEARNIGHTS.txt), but when I save it to a .pak file, the addon doesn't even show up in the addons list in-game. I've tried a variety of things I won't go into detail about, and I'm sure that I'm probably making a simple mistake, but a step-by-step, or even just some guidance would be appreciated.

NOTE: This is not an addon request. All I want is some clarification and guidance.

SOCs are not .txts and im sure its a .lua

By the way, SOC_CLEARNIGHTS has nothing to do with the Emeralds, it's just hiding the NiGHTS stages from Record Attack.
