Sorry for being offtopic, but. I'm curious, is the recolors still banned here? (Boy i can i tell i'm fucking dead now)

No, why would it be banned? As long as you put in some effort for the abilities to cover up the fact that it's literally just a recolor, it's welcome aboard.
 
Recolors are only rejected if they don't have enough work done in other areas to compensate for the lack of artwork. For example, we have a few characters that are literally colorized versions of the main case, like Crystal Sonic, Rose Gold Amy, and Jelly Tails, but still have their own unique abilities. As long as a clear amount of hard work went into the character, they're fine.
 
So uhm i know this thread is a months old now but the creator of Super Mystic Sonic said the recolor OCs are banned

I'm literally a moderator/judge and told you why recolors don't need to be banned. The answer is already "no", and in fact is "No, and we already have some." A character mod can't just be *only* a recolor, you gotta make it original through other means, via Lua scripting.
