SRB2net launcher - https://www.srb2.org/download/

you can find the file here in the Other Downloads section.

Make sure you downloaded the Sonic Robo Blast 2 v2.0.7 patch that can be founded in the same srb2net downloads page.

Tell me if this was useful.

It's because some people like me have a problem in hosting with the regular hosting is srb2,so I tried hamachi and it worked.

Hosting though Hamachi is an awful idea. The game may run smooth for you, but for the players that enter your game, will have horrible control lag. This will make it unplayable for most. Plus Hamachi can't hold more then 5 people from what I remember. Yes you can hold more if you pay of course. but either way, Hamachi is slow. So your experience for online play will be very limited for others. While for me, I can host a huge 32 player server off my own internet. And control lag is livable with little problems.

But real point is, you should learn how to portforward your ports, so you can host a bigger none lag server.

I know how to make more than 30 people join with hamachi for free, you can make many rooms in hamachi with the same IP

if you think it's an awful idea, for me it's perfect.

Not only will it lag, but other players who wish to join your server will need to download Hamachi and join your server.

Guys,I didn't post this thread to argue about if hamachi is good or not,I made it for those who want to make a hamachi server,so please if you don't want to make a hamachi server, then close the thread and keep exploring this forum.

This is an open forum and open discussion, including opinions and thoughts contrary to the OP, is allowed. They are absolutely allowed to post in this topic about the broader topic of Hamachi.

Hamachi is also a quick hack that, last I heard, bypasses network security to work. It's really worth noting that it's a security risk to run.

I think Evolve is a better choice than Hamachi, but I rather just forward ports.

Oh, I completely forgot that Hamachi also bridges the connection, and leaving it security open constantly.

This could lead to unwanted user onto the network.

But I do believe, it is possible to lock the network though. I just don't use Hamachi, so I won't be of any help to remember how to lock it, if it is possible.
