I think Aerial Garden Zone's enemy placement needs a few more tweaks.

These enemies just... die on their own.

As NiGHTS Mode is called NiGHTS Mode, why not add some extra NiGHTS stages for use in that mode that use the motifs of other zones not included in the special stage lineup? That way you could have a NiGHTS stage for every zone.

Well you can't really do anything about that cause it's a Death Pit. For example, when you have Sharps chasing you and they fall in a pit they get destroyed.

Maybe make an enemy that acts like the B.A.S.H. but instead of falling when they stop they can boomerang back to their original location. I don't know, those are just thoughts.

This would obviously require some new sprites, but eventually it would be nice if the elemental shield would lose the fire in its sprite while underwater. It'd be a cool visual touch and justify the loss of the flame trail underwater and the ATZ gargoyles being able to hit you. And fire damage water would be an exception, natch.

Slightly related - it's kind of weird how there are splashes when you run on top of lava; maybe a flag could be added to the water block linedef that would remove the splashing effects.

What stage DIDN'T get in the special stage line up? All of the campaign zones are in there...

Actually, it wouldn't. The shield sprites are saved as layers, and the fire part is a different layer. They'd just need to program it to remove the fire when underwater.

Speaking of the Elemental Shield, I dislike how the flames on the fire part is colored differently than the rest of the fires in the game. The rest use a cartoony red to yellow gradient, but the shield uses bright oranges. Not that big of a deal; it's just a little bothersome to my OCD.

Alright, I got some stuff to say and here it is:
-We could add 5 new gametypes such as Duels, King of the Hill, Last Man Standing, Terminator, and Possession.
-Maybe for future 2.1 patches, we can have the raining and thundering weather in CEZ1 and CEZ2, CEZ2 will then have a Skybox (just like CEZ1 does and the skybox can be the same) and DFZ will be using SKY10 instead of SKY11.
-IFZ can maybe use SKY53 instead of SKY55.
-The BMZ Sky and the Old THZ Sky shall get removed since we don't need those two skies anymore and THZ2 Sky will then become SKY5.
-THZ3 can maybe use the same sky as THZ2 instead of THZ1 since THZ3 come right after THZ2.
-Duels, King of the Hill, and Last Man Standing gets their unique maps while Terminator and Possession are going to use the Match Levels (whiches what Tag and Hide & Seek does).
-The Eggscaliber can maybe have some silver metal armor around it's self (on the thing type is what I'm talking about).
-Add a bit more detail to the THZ2 Skybox (such as make it a bit more bigger and having some more buildings).
-There is also going to be Team Gametypes for Last Man Standing, Terminator, and Possession.
-The minimum points of Record Attack for Azure Temple Zone shall be 410,000 points instead of 425,000 points.
-There will be low gravity and space countdown in the outside part of OHZ.
-The Sloped Pipes (as seen in THZ2) will be in TTZ and ERZ1.
-The ending part of Musicslot 128 will keep on going (as heard in the original Gene Gadget Zone Act 1 of Sonic 3D Blast) instead of stopping and starting all over.
-The Towers that has the chains in it that appears at the end off CEZ2 shall have their inside ceiling height much lower at be at the same distance as the outside ceiling height so the inside of the towers would NOT look unrealistic (especially in OpenGL since we were able to see through the inside parts from outside of the towers.

1) Are you trying to make Sonic Doom 3? Those gametypes don't sound too Sonic(ish) Are you trying to make SRB2 like this?
2)I totally agree with this. It would be very interesting and the sprites would look cooler.
3) Uh... why? It's already preety big and has a LOT of buildings... I see no point on making it bigger.
4) We already have CTF. And those gametypes do not really suit for a Sonic game, even if it's a fan game.

Anyways, my suggestion is this:

Preety much self explainatory.

Tyrannosaurus reggs with a gun strapped to its neck.

It's perfect. Strange, unfitting and unnecessary, but still perfect.

That video made my day worth living XD.
Pretty nice boss concept (And its better than the nothing we have, for sure)

So, this subject has been brought up among many of us and some of you may have seen it mentioned in another thread. Today I'm asking, what if mods like Kart and TopDown were vanilla gametypes?

Kart and TopDown are both very unique revisions to SRB2's gameplay, and have been polished extensively. Though TopDown hasn't been released yet, many of you have already tried Kart and most have enjoyed it. It's a stable, balanced racing mode and it has proven to be loads of fun. Personally, I think having Kart in vanilla would make the game much more interesting, since not only would we have a good platformer but also a recreation of a Kart racer within the game. As for TopDown, so far it has proven to have a gameplay style that you wouldn't really expect in SRB2 which is based heavily on cooperation as opposed to SRB2's poor excuse for cooperation now. I can't really say much regarding the subject since we haven't released it yet, but I still think if mods like those were vanilla gametypes then we'd likely get a lot more fun out of SRB2.

The problem with making Kart a vanilla gametype is that every future character release would then have to support an entirely new set of sprites for a gametype that may not even prove that popular. There's also an issue of both gametypes not really meshing well with the current selection of gametypes, by which I mean they necessitate drastic alterations to the general playstyle of the game in a way that none of the vanilla gametypes do.
