The Mega Map Jam Collab

The Mega Map Jam Collab 1.3

Well polished maps for the most part, but the fact that so many of them (if not all) are 5 laps makes the maps overstay their welcome pretty fast. Also Mega Golden Capital crashes in Grand Prix.

Great pack overall! Has really good track desing for the most part and is very creative with it's visuals. Some tracks can be a bit hard and the CPUs also can be a bit brutal but not too much.

The only track that made me confused on how to navigate it was the battle map Mega Wacky Workbench, could be a bit more clear how to get to the capsules on the back.

Still a great pack and very recommended!

Very fun, with some surprisingly challenging maps

I always enjoy a good five-lapper, but when I get two whole cups worth of them, I'm eating good.

Further evidence that the Mega mapping style is not only super efficient to build, but a lot of fun to drive. There are a couple minor conveyance-related rough spots here and there, but nothing that took away from my enjoyment of the pack itself.

Very fun maps, enjoyed a lot of what people brought to the table with the MEGA theme in mind. Would recommend for people just out of the sheer love everyone put into this pack!

Seriously fun maps, and I love the MEGA theme as much as I already did in vanilla (a lot, surprisingly!) The maps all have a solidly cute identity, I love the portable console naming scheme for the cups, and the maps themselves are a real fun drive in GP.

I only have two major issues with the current release, first being on MEGA Mellow Harbour- when coming up on the final corner, if you're hit across the starting area then attempt to cross the line, the lap does not count and you are forced to respawn.
Second issue is the Special Stage, which I'm 50/50 on. The titular maze is incredibly annoying to navigate, and you're going to be losing time on the first jump which seemingly requires either a sneaker boost or a full spindash to clear... and if you're doing the latter, the Claw will be far enough ahead for it to be incredibly hard to track in the maze which is very Jaws un-friendly. The jump out of the maze also requires two drops to ensure you don't fall off which requires at least one run to know that's coming. The instant the maze ends, the special stage gets to shine with it's theme & the walls actually function really nice compared to other wall gimmicks- and overall it's short & quick once you know what to do, which is a plus.

Overall, a must have map pack!

A set of wonderfully varied and unique maps! It's really great to see what everyone brought to the table, and seeing new and old mappers alike create some cool stuff and push the boundaries of what Mega maps can be.

Absolutely outstanding set of maps here. It was tons of fun to make a map and the assets for it, and seeing everyone else cook for the project was such a cool thing to see unfold. Enjoy everyone!
