Awesome boss rush: I played this addon using X Sonic and had a blast zipping through the giant spaces, my only issue is the constant crashes I've been getting at Giga Bowser. His Fight IS possible, though just dont crash... Other than that I'd give it a 5/5! Get to fixin that, pall!

The levels prior to the Giga Bowser boss fight were alright. The other bosses were hard, sure, but they had their merit. but I legitimately cannot get past the Giga Bowser boss fight, and that was the deal-breaker for me. WAY too hard. The first half of the fight was easy but the part where you have to shoot the projectiles after hitting the boss a few times is confusing and it takes WAY too many hits, I always end up loosing my rings and falling to my death, all because I couldn't figure out how to beat the boss in time.

I'm sorry, but I just can't give this a pass.

know that im the victim for conquest's in-development difficulty.

overall a nice levelpack for adventure sonic focusing on momentum, with hype moments and aura in bosses, but the visual design of the levels can be a lot better.

GENERATIONAL level pack in my opinion. There's so much to talk about but lets start from the top with the good!

My god the flow for all the levels is amazing, the feel and focus on momentum gain through rolls and spindashing reminded me of sonic GT in a lot of ways but with a more platforming-heavy approach. REALLY love this as it's what I've always wanted to see in mappers, mixing the horizontal speedbased sections with verticality without ruining either is a fine line and this mappack manages to teeter on it perfectly!

The bosses are so goddamn flashy, cool-factor is pushed to the forefront and it really shows. I love the chaos of them, though it can get a bit cluttered when in phase 2 of some bosses. The parry is also much more forgiving now which makes the bosses far, far more enjoyable rather than button-spam fest 10000.

Bringing mach speed back but refining it like project 06 was visionary stuff, same for bringing in skydiving, genuinely amazing concepts and execution (even if some of the mach speed sections absolutely destroyed me).

Now for the parts I was dreading discussing... The levels feel very... flat, decoration work is kind of lacking and the lack of lightblocks and other effects makes a lot of the death pits and skyboxes feel empty and rudimentary. This gets rectified to an extent right after the third boss fight who I REFUSE to name on principle, but shapes and stuff could be more complex. Maybe something to look forward to in a sequel mappack!

Overall, I'd give this a 10/10 if I could but there are still flaws here to iron out, so I give it a 9/10, once again, absolutely amazing.

Just WoW where do i begin this mod was something anyway the cutscenes in here were gorgeous but lets zones look awesome and big the only ones i didn't like was the Mach Speed zones they felt off But lets get to the Big ones The Bosses EggMan - walk in the park fang - he's just like eggman but slightly difficult cell - Tricky but not as bad but PLSSS buff the ring count because you don't get a lot in the bosses so if you l lose all your rings in them bosses you are Doom bowser 1 - hard then the other bosses but ones i figured it out it wasn't as bad still rough - bowser 2 - man this was torture phase 1 was as much as it is ok but we got in to phase 2 was the rought because half of the moves doesn't get that fiery energy and it gets crazier that you don't even get any rings gain after the cutscenes man this was difficult. Conquest - he was ok not hard but not easy he felt quite joyful to go against ( idk Why he has a bosses bar but not the other ones but ok) in dark and in light this was a 6/10 mod pack.

It was really fun. The normal platformer levels were okay, a bit big with little direction, but it never confused me tbh. The custom bosses were also a nice surprise..... Besides Cell, which made me laugh the first time around. great level mod. needs a little work, but overall it's fun

This add on is pretty good. The normal levels were pretty enjoyable, though I bet if I was better with adventure it’d be more of a blast. I kinda struggled with Mach speed, the controls were kinda funky. I feel like stuff like the drift could be heavily simplified. Like just making it hold the opposite direction rather than the opposite direction and spin. Though the bosses were definitely the highlight. The phase 1 bosses I actually found more difficulty with than the super ones (except for one). Fang was super confusing to fight against. His first phase is extremely easy. Just parry the beam and spinach away from the bullets. But when he started throwing bombs, which have a janky hotbox which you can’t really avoid, even with jumping. As well as a triple beam which if you parry the first one you can get hit by the second, it was odd. But it was super easy after getting the hang of it. Cell was more of a walk in the park. Most of his attacks are parriable. So you just have to parry all his attacks and homing attack him when you can. Bowser phase one for some reason requires you to attack via light speed attack. Which would be no problem if you didn’t have to hit a boulder to make him hittable. So you have to hit boulders with your attack charged. His 2nd phase is semi confusing, but the difficulty comes from the ring drain more than his attacks. It takes time to properly line up with one of the fire pillars, especially because they are such a thin strip. And if you mash c2 to shoot out as many arrows as you can, he gets knocked back once, not twice. Conquest is super difficult however. Both of his phases. But this review has gone on long enough. So instead of saying my complaints with him, I’ll instead say that despite all that I finished the mod because it was still super fun. Once you get the hang of things things are smooth. The cutscenes are extremely good, letting you do practically whatever. The QTEs are extremely cool. All in all, I’d say you should play this mod. It’s like a whole new game in another game.

Just a correction about bowser, you dont need to use a lightspeed attack to hit him, shooting a rock at him breaks his block and allows you to hit him with either a homing attack or just your jumpball, tho there is a QTE trigger once per battle if you lightspeed attack him out of his defense break state.

Thank you for the detailed review, means alot for me.
