I'll say this - the level is certainly quite neat, though some elements could certainly use quite the touch up. I'll begin with what I like:

1. The level itself uses narrow, but very free passageways. As someone who likes to use aerodynamic characters that can jump off of walls freely to gain vast momentum, this is a huge plus in general. Of course, that's a little bias, but that's mostly just how many levels in SRB2 are with the physics' nature.
2. Most of the level is fast, and requires careful precision to get right where you need to be.
3. It's got a neat variety of challenges, ranging from the platforms with the springs that crumble to the small mini-sections in between.

Unfortunately, that is where my praise ends.

1. Contrary and similarily to what RedSRB2 said about the matter, I've noticed that there is a checkpoint somewhere near the beginning of the left path in the fork, but that is the only one I saw. Typically, SRB2 levels have a lot more, while there is only one here as far as I'm aware.
2. Similar to what Red also said, the pacing is rather tedious and long, as the level typically ranges from 3 minutes to an entire five. However, there is also the fact that the moving platforms in said mini-sections from above take quite a bit to get down and back up. This is one of the larger issues with the level, because if you don't have the right character and/or moves readily available (e.g. Tails' flight or Knuckles' wall climb), then it's a bit of a waiting game. Quite a big difference from the fast sections of the level, in fact.
3. Remember the precision I mentioned earlier? Well, sometimes it's good, but sometimes it backfires. There are a few sections in particular that I remember having you reach a platform by using springs. However, even if you give the springs your best shot and even properly maneuver yourself, you sometimes just won't reach the platforms, making them quite unfair for some characters.

TL;DR, it's a bit of a mixed level. There are good features of the level like how aerodynamic it is, but there are still quite a few issues, hence earning it 3 stars.

It's a bit of a nice novelty that this got made, and I personally like it. But, there are several flaws that don't really make this a good experience.

1. The pacing in Act 1 is tremendously long. If you are planning to speedrun this stage, it will take you roughly 3.5 minutes, while it's 5 minutes if playing casually.
2. Act 1 doesn't have Checkpoints. At all. I know this is a Demo Quest remaster, but remember that not many people are willing to complete it without losing a single life.
3. Both acts don't have a Level Select portrait. There is a nice tutorial on the MB that explains how to add them, so I recommend you checking it out.
