Starlight's Star pack V6: A new beginning

So uh... this stuff was gonna be saved for v5.5 but

world mario really needed to go


so uh

take another starters character in his place-

here were go..

this is something I bet at least one person was wondering

custom tracks and will I make any

and the answer for now is

no

I've taken a hard look at high voltage ring and it just overwhelms me

the guide that is up isn't very good for me (mostly cause text based guides just never work for me)

I'll gladly make assets for tracks if anyone really wants my assistance and knows how to do this thing (and is doing any tracks from the cars 2 game -)

otherwise

I'm just gonna stick with this stuff (character making, and asset swapping)

so.. this is gonna be an interesting one but

I'm now gonna try and make content for myself for this pack

essentially meaning that the character roster is gonna get interesting

alongside some character cuts

so far

world mario and homer will be cut from the pack until I can make better versions of them

so uh .. that's it for now

why do I say this well


I'm gonna just make stuff and say nothing about it until the update launches


in August

I'm currently running a Collab that i believe should get all my attention so that's why I'm not gonna really say much so I don't feel pressured to release stuff

yeah.. it's kinda shocking to see v5 now isn't it?

well a couple events happened which resulted in this coming out with only 3 new characters and 2 new followers

anyway

we've got 3 new characters (alongside a new stat card that every character will get in the future)

so

it's time for another one of these

and the next character for v5 is ....

honestly this one was kinda expected but yeah

I might do another companion character to another character in the pack so uh .. that might be the next character I'll reveal

it's mudkip v2

yep

a starters character is getting redone from scratch and being put into this pack instead

one of two starters characters that were meant for this pack originally but after the two gained a lot of attention... it kinda spun off into it's own thing

so yeah

I'll be doing another starters character as well to complement mudkip v2 and a potential new follower category..

so I've decided that this will be how I reveal the roster to v5

showing them off as they're completed

I was honestly close to just releasing this one early but I've decided that I'll hold him back for v5


and that character is.....

Acer​

yep, bet this one was a total curveball of a character choice. but remember

my original goal with the pack was to have more odd character choices and Acer fits that perfectly

he's also My first custom kart character and most likely won't be my last

Acer uses the custom kart husk lua code that I'll link once I have his description done

I'm not sure if I'll provide a Lua-less version due to how weird it would be

Anyway


Acer is 100% coming to v5 and see y'all till the next character reveal

so... I'll be completely honest

whatever I announce for updates

are always TBD

most of the time stuff gets cut

and the roster of v5 is the case

the roster will be revealed closer to the update's completion

but right now

the update is about 20% done

I'm so far getting the non new character stuff out of the way first since I'm afraid I might forget something

but so far the PMD category has been added and the followers that needed to be moved were moved
