M&M's Ring Racing V3 FULL RELEASE

so v3 is finally out after months of delays

mostly due to other projects

but now

it's finally here with...

a playable Dr Phill M&M

the greatest shitpost imaginable and the final main character for the pack

but this isn't it for M&M's Ring racing

I plan on one more update around Easter of 2026

but I'm not gonna share much about it besides what I've teased with the music I've added as a bonus

so... the pack is almost at 2000 total downloads.. and I'd like to say.. thank you.

thank you for giving such an Oddball character pack a look/download

and I'd like to say

v3 is still coming, just not exactly as I said it would.. character choices were made and I've decided that green and blue... might not be coming in this update

despite saying v3 was gonna be the last update

I honestly have a plan of releasing what had been done for the original v3.. and launching the rest later on when I have the motivation to actually complete blue and green.

but, I have something new that will be coming in this new v3...

I don't believe I need to explain this

but I will just in case

the update already had a low quality shitpost character, but I decided that I might as well make the greatest shitpost character I could

so once he's done

the update will launch.... sometime next month

so-

with the fact that the next update is likely coming this month
might as well talk about some things

like the fact this was my first attempt at literally any public add-on

so I'm shocked at how well received it was despite the overall quality

and I'm kinda shocked they ended up looking so good now

I was literally saying to myself as I made red v3 was "how am I doing this?"

I'm still shocked that I even managed to make those v3s

hopefully I can give the pack a good send-off with v3

yeah so uh... i kinda decided that I should at get the redone m&m's out so I'm not holding onto my best work until June

this update is basically a preview for what'll be v3

the full update should contain

7 Total characters

and redone graphics

this update should be the final update to this pack as I see no need for revisions of these characters

so... 1 year kinda flies by huh?

this pack is probably gonna reach 1 year in a couple months

anyway

the big update

red is getting a v3

to look more in style with ring racers

I'm honestly shocked at how good it looks

IDK when he'll be done

but I'm already proud of how good he's turning out already

so

I decided to finally update this pack

essentially because I'm thinking about moving everyone but red back to only being in this pack

or something like that
idk yet

anyway

all v2s are in this update but without their Lua coding

so

I've decided to not just abandon this pack when I ended up making V2s of the entire cast from this pack


so basically this final update will have the V2s of.. Red

yellow

And orange

these V2s are completely redone from the ground up versions of these characters

once the update is out

expect no further updates to this pack

so.. i mentioned a while back that there would be one more update.. well

that and potential future updates won't be for this pack

because I'm moving the 3 characters from this pack to offbrand's oddballs

why?

it's pretty simple tbh

it's so the characters people may want are all in one add-on page

I also want that pack to have more characters and I see no need to have 3 characters be separate from the main character pack

hopefully you all understand why I'm doing this and thanks for supporting the first character pack I've made

remember that I said if I found yellow's original files I'd update his sprites?

I thought I was done with this pack too but..

I found red's original files and decided to give him a bit of a sprite overhaul along with making his voicelines easier to hear

So the pack is officially done

I have plans to perhaps make this pack for SRB2Kart as well

But those will have new sprites
