How to make your own custom mixtape!

What permissions do you give others to modify and/or maintain your submission?
Modify: ASK ME - Maintain: NO - Others must ask me for permission before modifying my submission or use it in their own work, and I reserve the right to say no for any reason. No, others may not maintain my submission, even in my absence.
Heya folks! This is a quick, brief tutorial on how you can create your own Mixtape for your SRB2 expereince!

DIFFICULTY: [ ||--- ] EASY

Step 1. Open the Music file directly from the SRB2 folder in Slade. Do note that this tutorial focuses on the .ogg music files, although you can try and do the Midi music for this. If you don't want to do the Midi files, then you can safely delete them.

Step 2. Time to look for a song. Head to the internet and search for a song that you'd like. For this tutorial, we will be focusing on replacing Speed Shoes with the Free Bird solo. (Now with Eurobeat!) Once you found the song, visit cobalt.tools to convert the link into an audio file.

Step 3. Once the song has been downloaded, open any audio editing program. For this tutorial, I'm using FL Studio, but I'm sure this can work for everything else. Since the Speed Shoes lasts 20 seconds, we'll have to edit the song, like making it shorter and adding a fade to the end. For song that have a loop (Greenflower), you'll have to be more precise as to where the song ends, so it loops perfectly.

Step 4. This is where things get complicated, so pay attention. You will have to export your new song as an .ogg file, and you will have to name the new song EXACTLY as the file from the Music file. Once the new song has been exported, delete the old O__SHOES file from the Music file, then slap the new music onto the Music file. (I really hope this makes sense. qwq)

Step 5. Once that's done, click on File, then Save As. Name the file anything you'd like, but place the mod somewhere you can easily remember. Save it as a .wad file, as it doesn't interfere with your Multiplayer games (and hopefully doesn't get you banned, but it's safer to just use it for Singleplayer.) If you're unsure how, save it as a .pk3.

Aaaaand that should do it! I hope this tutorial has proven to be useful for you. Have fun making your own mixtape for SRB2!

(If some of the steps are confusing, please tell me.)
