Features |
---|
Boost Makes the character run at full speed and destroy any obstacles along the way, similar to modern Sonic games. It also enables Dash Mode for the character. |
Flight Boost Flying characters (such as Tails) can perform the boost while flying, allowing for some cool skips. |
Glide Boost Just like the flying characters, gliding characters (such as Knuckles) can also perform the boost while gliding. |
Super Boost Characters in super form will cause a massive explosion and destroy any enemies around, similar to the Armageddon Shield |
In order to use the boost, you first need to enable it by typing enableboost on the console, and you can also use disableboost to, well, disable it.
These settings are persistent, but they only apply to the character you're currently playing as, so you have to enable the skill individually for every character you want to use it. It can be a bit tedious, but this allows you to choose which characters you want to use the skill.

This script was primarily tested with vanilla characters. It's known that some custom characters can work really well with it, like Shadow and Neo Sonic, but I can't guarantee it will work for other custom characters (that's why you can choose which characters can use it).
This script was not tested on versions prior to 2.2.13, so it's unknown if it will work as intended or at all on those versions, use it at your own risk.
