I know I haven't updated this in a while, I've been working on redoing some of the character sprites as of recent, and i've also eliminated the framedrop issue entirely.
im not sure when this update will come out bc i have a lot of work todo before im happy, but I thought i'd let ya'll know that this isn't entirely dead :p
