I have officially relaunched my addon, and now rebranded in a dedicated cup! Ever since the release of Breezy Village, I felt like I wanted to create more maps with some ideas. So, I turned this standalone map into a new cup, The Arcade Cup (not to be confused with the ArcadePak Cups.) Anyway, there are six maps out now, and with one more coming soon.
Round #1: Breezy Village
Based on the 2nd level from Ape Escape 2, a small windmill village where monkeys run amok, now ready for racing! Originally, it was a standalone track, but since I improved more on the map, it would be prepared for this cup.
Round #2: Donburi Skyway
Set in the skies above Donburi Island from the TwinBee series, going through a series of jumps to clouds and sky fortresses from the '90s games and the TwinBee Paradise universe. You can also fly with rocket packs, but can you survive?
Bonus Round #1: Hover! City
Remember the classic Windows 95 game "Hover!"? Well, how about taking out prison capsules or duking out your opponents around this city stage? Sadly, you don't capture flags here.
Round #3: Delfino Coast
Set on Isle Delfino from Super Mario Sunshine, this track takes the layout of Circuit de Monaco of F1 into Isle Delfino's street circuit! Inspired by Cerulean Riviera in SRB2 Kart and the Mario Kart Wii custom track, this tropical map takes onto new heights. Keep on racing as you'll see the Shine Gate from the distance.
Round #4: Frutiger Aeropolis (final round in current version for now)
Welcome to the city of the future of the 2000s! Race through the futuristic city in the sky inspired by the Y2K and Frutiger Aero aesthetics with rooftop jumps, a straight mall section, and a garden section inspired by Bliss, along with a long jump. It's also one of my best creative tracks. Features music by System ST91, DV-i, ViRiX Dreamcore, and Xploshi.
Bonus Round #2: Dolphin Temple
It may be Ecco's arena, but it's also influenced by the PS1 game Fluid, you battle around this underwater temple with three sections of high and low areas. But hey the song is trippy.
Round #5: ???????
Coming Soon
More maps will be coming soon so don't forget to watch, along with other updates!
