Good thing I took a break from map making, but I can still do more patches. Let's see what's new?

-Another OOB has been dealt with in Delfino Coast.
-The sneaker panel in Midnight Bay Streets has been removed, promptly because of its close proximity of a tripwire shortcut to the red tunnel, making it useful as a free shortcut.
-Some graphic fixtures in Computer is done.
Well it's always been a week, but I'm doing more content updates. What's new?
----------
All Race Tracks: All first waypoints with finish lines are now linked with the finish lines, since the issue was with Mega Frutiger Aeropolis.

Pak 1:
In Frutiger Aeropolis, more decor has been added, minorly. The return of the shop music, only limited to one theme, the Gems Museum theme of the base game. Also, included death pits after getting some feedback using gardentops or anything going out of bounds of the map.

Mega Frutiger Aeropolis now has newly revised waypoints, with the first one now linked to finish line.

Pak 2:
Now blocked off that shortcut in Tetromino Palace during the first spring jump.

Starmine Speedway now has the textures changed for the main road, as mentioned by Plutia to prevent blending the horizon with the dark blue road.

Pak 3:
Numerous changes and additions to the tunnel shortcut within Midnight Bay Streets. Even pushed back the sneaker panel further from the tripwire shortcut.
Well it's time I post another hotfix update to the pack, these are mostly for Pak 2.

-The deathpit has been added when you fall down in the Anti-Gravity section in Memory.
-The battle kiosk has now been properly added to Specter Stadium. Again, items rain down.
24 hours later, getting some feedback so here's some patch notes of this hotfix update.

Patch notes:
-Included a death pit in Delfino Coast before heading down to the hairpin.
-A waypoint issue in Mega Frutiger Aeropolis has been fixed.
-Fixed one of the windmills in Monkey Target, breaking the fabric of reality.

V6: The Emotion Engine update!

Well guys, after all that trouble, and reached the 1 year anniversary of the game, I present to you all, The Emotion Engine update!!!!! It features a new pack, Pak 3 which will be used for the new cup. But also, the introduction of the special stages! So lets take a look!

New special stages: Emotion Engine (Computer and Memory)
New Maps: Starmine Speedway + Midnight Bay Streets
New Battle Maps: Nimbus Arena + Specter Stadium
New Encore Variants: Sapphire Mountain and Starmine Speedway

New Special Stages: Emotion Engine

After all that trouble and demand, I finally introduce a series of special stages, Emotion Engine, set in a digital dimension inspired by the PlayStation 2. If you manage to complete a cup, you'll enter a special stage the realm with technology stages, Computer for the Arcade Cup or Memory in the Cube Cup. All in which you need to obtain the prize, The PlayStation Coin.

The theme of the stages is provided by ViRiX Dreamcore.

New Maps! LET'S GO!!!!

Also if anyone didn't remember, I added BSOD Ring, which was originally included on April Fools Day, now you can race on it.

Alright, on to the new maps!

New Map: Starmine Speedway (Pak 2)
ringracers0022.png

The journey of the Cube Cup ends as they enter a starlight course over a nighttime city with fireworks and starlight structures, inspired by the PlayStation 2 title Fantavision. Be prepared for the ultimate 4 lap experience! This even includes a Encore variant.

New Map: Midnight Bay Streets (Pak 3)
ringracers0137.png

It could take place in Japan, but I could be wrong. This takes place on one of the sports car courses located in Midnight Bay from Ape Escape 3. However, unlike the original, there are some additions to fit the Ring Racers way, including numerous hazards like oil, Motobugs, and even ramps. Thankfully, you don't need to control the car with the left stick and drift with the right stick when you have racing controls with you.

New Battle Map: Nimbus Arena (Pak 3)
ringracers0167.png

Hailing from the skies of Nimbus from Miitopia, take on opponents in this arena which combines the battlegrounds and the Sterile Plant. Don't be fooled by the large stage, just remember the Darker Lord isn't gonna steal your face when you battle opponents on this map. Also, if you ever stuck on the 2nd island in overtime, you will have to jump for your life.

New Battle Map: Specter Stadium (Pak 2)
ringracers0186.png

The iconic Peak Point Matrix from the first Ape Escape game has now become a battleground, mostly inspired by Pumped & Primed. In Prison Mode, UFOs will surround the stage, but keep your wits on it during Battle Mode.

More encore variants!
New Encore Variant: Sapphire Mountain
Now Sapphire Mountain takes it in a nighttime environment. BTW, this song in Encore sounds 80s.

New elements and fixes:
New songs have been added to the Alt Song Pak, which now contains songs for Pak 2 tracks.

Pak 1:
Breezy Village gets another song, making a total of 2. Now every track contains two songs.
Hover! City now has another song and some ad boards on the north and south sections.
Delfino Coast now has proper lighting, mostly in the tunnel section.
Frutiger Aeropolis is now 3 laps instead of 2 laps.

Pak 2:
Updated thumbnail for Spiral Hill Circuit.

Monkey Target has some elements changed:
. Heavily reduced slope walls on all sloped areas of track besides the beginning to increase turn readability.
. Slopes now have fences instead to further increase readability of turns.
. Added ark arrows during the trick panel jump to tell players to trick forward.
. Changed MONKI3 from Minigame Theme 6 to Ultra Heaven (suggestion from Woshee's brother.)
. Oh yeah, removed troll springs to increase turn readability, almost forgot.
-Encore song removed, for file size limits.

Sapphire Mountain's skybox has been changed.

Now included a death pit a bit higher in PlayStation Carnival. Speaking of that map, more screens have been added and they are all scrolled.

Well, I hope you all enjoyed the long wait for the maps! Have fun!
Since it's going to be a big update, how about a couple of track teasers?

Perhaps you could view from these images and think about what you want to do? Would you race, battle or capture a true prize in these images? All these answers will be revealed in V6.

Hello gang, it's been 2 weeks since I released V5.7, but I got some updates regarding the pack. This will be big because I have included six new maps to bringing in, and I won't post a teaser until soon. So far, only five have completed (in terms of layout but I still need to look into it), and currently waiting on some content, but I'm already in development of the final Cube Cup course. It will be ready soon once I make more textures and things to include. I might be able to get the update ready by the end of April or early May. Though, I have been taking breaks and been doing my other work including real life that I may delay on my progress, however, I'm going to get the final map finished. Also, most of my track preview videos are on YouTube so, more stuff on it will sure to come.

I hope you're all excited for V6.
  • Cool!

APRIL FOOLS!!!!!!!!!

Also, I included a gift inside the pack. Can you look and play it?

I know you wanted to hate me, but be patient as I'm hard at work on the upcoming V6 update which will include more maps! So for now, you'll have to use the new one! Also special thanks to Enderjed for the music piece!
Made some changes to the pack.

-The spiral platform fake FOFs in Sapphire Mountain now have death pits, even added more on the bottom.
-Removed the first island in Mega Frutiger Aeropolis, now you can jump to one island. This also changes the minimap.
This small patch only focuses on Retro Maze CE, the music muting issue has been resolved.
