Why isn't there a "Delete my account" option in Account details?

i think it was along the lines of “deleting your account also deletes every post you’ve made”

Asking yourself to get banned is something that you can do. Although, leaving your account is better than having it banned. As you won't be able access your Message Board account (I guess to relive the memories of what you did on the site), leaving it locked entirely. Although, if you don't care about looking at your past on your MB account. Then just, try to break the rules (I do not recommend doing so btw).

i’m pretty sure if you went in the talk to the staff forum and just asked to get banned, and have a good reason for it, the staff would ban you.

There is LITERALLY no way to delete your account. It can cause problems that could (probably) corrupt the Message Board entirely (Unless you try to ask the staff). Blocking your account is the only way for your account to be 50% deleted.

Is the admin the only that can delete accounts or something similar though?

Moderators can only banned/block accounts. Although, they can't delete accounts. That's the only difference.

We don't delete accounts, if you want your account cleared of all details and banned so you don't feel tempted to return feel free to ask us, but that's it.
