Just posting this to see if I'm crazy or not. Which control scheme do y'all use when playing SRB2?
A) Keyboard and Mouse
- I imagine this is the control scheme that most ppl use. WASD to move, mouse to move the camera. I use this sometimes (primarily when playing ringslinger because you need the mouse buttons to fire), however I tend to use scheme B more often for SP and co-op.
B) Pure Keyboard (IJKL)
- What I use mostly. Camera is controlled with IJKL. Feels more natural to me than scheme C, but I wanna know what others think about this. Works a treat in SP and coop, but scheme A is better if you spend most of your time on ringslinger modes.
C) Pure Keyboard (CRSR)
- Ditto, but with the cursor keys instead of IJKL. Awkward to use in my opinion, but it's the default for keyboard only gameplay.
D) Pure Keyboard (NP)
- This seems like a crap-shoot, but I wanna know if anyone uses the numpad on their keyboard to play. Probably no one, but I wanna cover all bases.
E) Controller
- This is how I got my start. Playing on a controller (for me I use[d] an X360 pad) is actually quite nice in SRB2, but I tend to reserve it for 2Kart and DRRR, due to their game-pad-centric controls that are very janky when adapted to the keyboard.
Again, I use control scheme B on this list. Which one do you use? Let me know. No offense will be taken from the (probably) hundreds of ppl who'll tell me I'm damn crazy for using keyboard only.
