Where does Press Garden Zone take place?

Every revisited zone (or round in the Little Planet stage cases) in Sonic Mania has an area they're binded to. Green Hill has South Island, the Sonic CD zones have Little Planet, the Sonic 2 zones have West Side Island, Sonic 3&K zones with Angel Island (albiet Flying Battery takes place in the sky), etc.

But there are a few new stages that aren't stated (to my knowledge at least this post would be really embarrassing if it was stated) to have an exact island to belong to. However, it's really easy to piece together what part of a zone links to what island.

Studiopolis is directly linked to Chemical Plant via tube and Mirage Saloon seems to have direct ground travel to Oil Ocean, making those zones part of West Side Island.

Titanic Monarch can also be seen in the distance of Metallic Madness, meaning it is in fact on Little Planet. Egg Reverie takes place within time and space and isn't really anywhere, anyway.

Leaving the only outlier, Press Garden. You get to the zone by jumping off of Flying Battery (which Sonic & Tails hitched onto from Studiopolis), and you are thrown into Stardust Speedway via the Phantom Ruby. This leaves Press Garden with no definitive island- the strongest contender is West Side because of Studiopolis leading into Flying Battery, but really the airship could've gone anywhere- Sonic (or whoever) could've GLIDED anywhere. It could be on the north or east islands we have yet to visit, hell, it could even be on Christmas Island!

Using the S3&K Angel Island sprite as reference, Flying Battery in Sonic & Knuckles barely gets anywhere, as the apparent distance between Mushroom Hill and Sandopolis is relatively small. The most likely answer thusly is that Press Garden is also on West Side Island.

Something to take into consideration is what the place actually is; a printing press. Eggman is using it as part of a propaganda campaign, apparently in conjunction with Studiopolis to control the news. This would suggest that the two locations have a direct connection to each other and as such likely aren't far apart. I'd imagine that the newspapers printed at Press Garden are delivered to Studiopolis via the Flying Battery before it then makes a return trip back to Press Garden to pick up more newspapers for delivery.
