What happened?

Installed Ring Racers on my steam deck recently because on PC there was a bug that made the game have a spasm if I touched the volume keys.

Only to then find that the game is a ghost town, all servers are empty, same with SRB2Kart.

Finding games there was a complete non-issue.

Did i arrive late? Am I playing at the wrong time? Is there something I'm not doing right?

You're probably playing at the wrong time. The game still sees a good bit of activity every day.

Make sure you're playing at the right time (usually afternoon in the US). The game still has a large playerbase. At the time of writing, the Server Browser is reporting 74 servers.

It's less that there's a designated time, more that the userbase is primarily in the US, due to the US being the US. You can, of course, find people playing the game at any time, though.
