weird screen glitch

ok so i am playing srb2 but the screen when i enter a new menu or new map or act the screen freezes for a split sec (on application) then turns black for a second before coming back and repeating another time again before it stops

Did you try Software mode?

not sure what this is supposed to really mean, does this mean you're stuck in a loop or does something happen after it flickers?

happens to me aswell just tap the windows menu key and go back to the game its just your pc struggling with opengl
