I like Metal La-Flower a lot!
La-Flower, on the other hand, seems more suited to a different kind of challenge runner than myself. 
Yeah me neither honestly, I don't think I ever tested if she could lol. I was very much more interested in Metal La-Flower. But good vids! Glad you enjoyed them and somehow beat the game as La-Flower lolHonestly, I'm not absolutely sure La-Flower was actually intended to beat the vanilla game's campaign at all – she softlocks at two of the three paths in DSZ2 I know – but I went out of my way to do the run anyway, and succeeded. And just because I could, I ran Metal La-Flower also!

Thanks! Yeah, like I said, La-Flower seems more suited to a different sort of challenge run, which I accidentally passed by doing this speedrun at all. That being said, I'm kind of surprised there was only one level that could actually stop her cold, as far as I could tell. ACZ1 is just barely passable without a spin dash or other means of getting a big burst of speed or without the ability to fly/climb/smash breakable floors, but she's barred completely from two whole paths of DSZ2 under threat of a softlock, and the only path she can use kinda sucks for everyone else.
I don't believe I've ever seen a speedrunner take the path I did, before. They definitely don't seem to do it if they have a choice in the matter. lolActually, there's three paths in that level she can't take; one that Amy and Knuckles can theoretically access along the route I took! I don't think I've ever seen anyone take that route during a speedrun either, now that I think about it. But unlike the other two, she's not even allowed to try, which means no risk of a softlock.
