Hi, so I've been tinkering around with zone builder to make some tracks for srb2k, and for practice's sake I'm trying to adapt Thwomp Ruins from Mario Kart 8 into SRB2K. I've got the terrain figured out pretty well, slopes, speed pads, checkpoints etc down pretty good for a first map, but obviously, it cant be Thwomp Ruins without Thwomps.
Using the things menu I've placed various Thwomps throughout the map but they have no interactability when testing the map. They ignore the player, do not fall down, and can be driven through. SMK_Pipe and SMK_DP_Monty_Mole both work correctly so at first I thought I configured some thing settings incorrectly, but I checked the Thing Data for the Thwomps in SMK Bowser Castle 3 (MAP54) and it seems that I've configured them the exact same way as they are in the official maps, so I'm kind of stumped here. Picture 1 is the setting I have the Thwomps set for in my custom map and picture 2 is how they're set in MAP54. Is there something that I'm overlooking? Thx
Quick edit- When I finish a race, I can see that some Thwomps that I put right ahead of the finish line will rise to their sector's ceiling height right as my driver ends the race. Maybe their actions are bound to the race ending and I need to change some prerequisite? Idk but definitely strange
