Sonic Fighting Games thread.

So I've been playing Sonic Battle and Sonic the Fighters WAY more than I should, so I got this idea.
Any Sonic Fighting games yall wanna share or talk about? Do it here!

Honestly, Sonic The Fighters is, in my book, THE Sonic fighting game experience (as far as official content goes). It plays the best, looks the best and generally has that mid-1990s charm to it that can't be avoided.

i know this is kind of off-topic, but when i heard sonic blitz's announcement i honestly thought it was a new fighting game akin to sonic the fighters or sonic battle.
pretty disappointing to find out that it's a card game for some reason. booooorinnggg.

Honestly, if y'all like Sonic the Fighters, try Sonic The Fighters Blitz Hyper Edition, It's not LIKE the gameplay in STF (It's more similar to 2D Fighters like Street Fighter 2 more) but it's still really fun tho, even if I suck at it lol (also it has Honey the Cat now, so it's automatically good :3)

Not sure if this is off-topic or not, but I really just want Sonic to get a better moveset in Smash next time around. I was thinking maybe they could release DLC for the Switch 2 called Super Smash Bros Alternate (a play on "Ultimate) Mode, it's like 30 bucks or something and some old veteran characters could get alternate movesets you can select on the CSS, particularly Sonic and Ganon.

Personally, I have my dream Sonic moveset nailed down pretty well, still debating a normal or two. Do y'all have any dream movesets for Sonic?

Plus, more on-topic, Sonic Smackdown Ultimate looks like gas, but I can't play it for some reason. It just says something like "Logging into Epic Account" forever. I don't even have an epic account???

I can't either. But that's because of my OS.
And yea, I saw a mod for Sonic. It gave him a choice between a Battle moveset, and a Modern moveset, and it's peak.

Yeah, I play that one with my modded copy on emulator, it's called Sonic Reimagined. I wish SoniDelta (the creator) would buff F-Air, Sonic Eagle is too slow to come out. The reason it can be so fast is because the spike hitbox is relatively precise, Sonic's F-Air is as slow as Mario's and as precise as Zelda's and you almost never get the spike. Plus having a quick forward-facing kick is essential.
