Somethings wrong with the online.

I tried to go online today on SRB2 and it wouldn't let me. Single player works but that is it. Can anyone help me?

Well I load up SRB2. Then I go to Multiplayer. Then I go to the find game place and the game crashed. A error came and said UPD-Socket is in use by another programmer. There other programs on when I try it again so..

I believe that used to happen when I first tried online play. Close down any other programs that may be using ports 5029 or 5030 over UDP. This most definitely doesn't fix the problem however. It appears to be a bug in SRB2 itself. After launching SRB2, try just joining a server. Don't start any new games before your server join or that error might appear.

also it could be that:

• A) you have a network bridge running
  B) have "Internet sharing" enabled
  C) have a very bad and dumb network setup

so you have to set SRB2 to bind only to one IP address by using -bindaddr <ip-address>
