Small question about filename conventions...

I'm not going to be submitting anything any time soon, but I just wanted to know:
If the mod includes a patched character skin (in this case, Tails), will I still have to include "C" in the filename?
In this case, there's something I'm working on that includes maps, the patched skin, and Lua. Would it still be "SCL_", or would it just be "SL_"? I feel like I should know the answer to this, but I just want to make sure in case I don't accidentally make any mistakes when I do eventually manage to release something on here.
