Save files mayhem

So I played SBR2 v2.2.10 and managed to get up to arid canyon zone act 1. Since this is so valuable, I don't want to lose it. But now I want to use the most up to date version of the game, v2.2.13. Are the save files compatible, where are they, and where do I move them to?

On a different note, while putting tags I realized there was a v2.3x tag. Is there v2.3x versions, or am I just being trolled?

The latest version of the game is always the one that’s downloadable on the download page of the site. 2.3 has not been released yet.

The savefiles are found in SRB2’s root folder. They are any of the files with the SAV file extension.
But you’re also going to want to move gamedata.dat to your new installation as well. It holds all of your emblems, and thus everything you’ve unlocked.
