Ring Racers Video Tutorials [BATTLE MODE AND INSTA-WHIP UPDATE]

map layout design is [was?] my passion
Per recommendation of ChaseSP, I'm creating this thread to link any and all Ring Racers video tutorials I end up creating. If other players end up making tutorials for other stuff, I'll add them too to the list with proper credit.

There are four guides available as of updating this - which you can find in the links below, but they are also added to this playlist on Youtube if you want something easier to link.

Currently available guides:
Potentially planned guides - Nothing done about these yet, but are some of the ideas I could materialize in the future:
  • Items Guide
  • Character Stats Guide
And on top of how I look forward to these helping out new players, I've already had a lot of people thanking me for the Sliptide video being so useful to then, which was great to see as the reception of my first new tutorial video for Ring Racers. I might toy with custom in-game tutorials in the future to reinforce teaching this stuff, but for now, I can have more confidence in that these will do good enough in the meantime :wonderful:

Your Sliptide/Wavedash tutorial is really good and since you talked about making other videos I figured it was a good idea to have them elsewhere besides discord so more people can easily find it. Not everyone is on/has access to it and I don't like info being hidden behind discords generally so thank you for taking the time to make a thread for it.

New update: The Garden Top Guide has just been released.
I already updated the first post to link to it.

Knowing the reputation of this thing, legitimately busted in some tracks and situations, but often maligned because the potential is hidden behind the basic functions of it not being conveyed beyond the manual, hopefully this should be really handy to help players use it properly.

NEW UPDATE: The Basics and Mechanics Guide has finally been unleashed.

This encompasses a plethora of things in basics and advanced mechanics, including stuff that I previously had written to maybe give separate guides in the future [Rings, Triangle Dash, Tethering, Boost Stacking]. There's A LOT to unpack when playing that I covered here, so I hope it helps a lot :]

NEW UPDATE: The Battle Mode Guide [ft. Insta-Whip] has been released - go Insta-Whip someone NOW :threat:

As the name implies, it is about playing Battle Mode - going through all the rules of it, as well stuff that is either already in Race mode but more relevant/amplified in Battle Mode...or is exclusive to it. This includes the Insta-Whip, a move that I didn't cover in the Basics and Mechanics Guide, but is covered here as it is way more common to see it used in Battle Mode.
