NoClippy - sv_cheats 1; noclip

Ring Racers lets you noclip with cheats on, but do you still want to fly around the map without snapping to floors or ceilings?

Thus, I present NoClippy for Ring Racers!

  • Adapted existing buttons for controls as such:
    • Horizontal movement/rotation is handled by same inputs as aiming forwards & backwards, as well as turning left & right.
      • Note about forward & backwards...

Those are cool features and all, but how do you actually access NoClippy? Nowhere does it say how you're supposed to turn noclip on.
Removes most, if not all of the collision for yourself once noclippy is enabled.
You're not really supposed to use regular noclip and NoClippy together, either.

Goated addon, used this all the time in Kart and I'm using it all the time now in RR for going from place to place to test levels and taking scenic screenshots.

Only RR-specific nitpicks are, I'd give the player the PF_TRUSTWAYPOINTS flag so that the waypoint system doesn't respawn the player, which can happen sometimes, and likewise forcefully remove the PF_AIRFAILSAFE flag at all times so the airtime failsafe doesn't kick in. You can access these from the pflags member in players. I think the camera moving up and down can be fixed by using the up and down input but setting cmd.throwdir to 0 so the game logic doesn't pick it up.

Looking forward to fixes if you do so, and thank you once again for porting this.

Cant wait for noclippy for base srb2! (Yes i know object place exists, then again object place still causes you to snap to floors and ceilings so noclippy for vanilla srb2 would be HIGHLY appreciated, otherwise thanks for bringing some absolutely JOYOUS mods to this srb2 message board, @TheOneGoofAli ! :D)
